Saga's End...?

I got an email the other day from Cyborg Zero who, for those of you who didn't know, is the company from whom I purchased an intake manifold and throttle body combo around this time two years ago. Yes. Two years ago. I never received it. Neither did anyone else, despite an ongoing set of uptakes promising progress towards theeir shipment. I kinda wrote the whole thing off as a loss a long time ago, and paid off my credit card which I used to buy it.

The email stated that refund negotiations were beginning for those who had not yet received an intake, and wanted to confirm the addresses and contact details for those involved in the fiasco. I emailed them back with my information, then checked their website again today and saw a notice regarding the dissolution of the company and the consequential legal options remaining to those involved. I emailed them again according to the requirements laid out in the bulletin, and I will now await the results. I have asked for a refund, which would be nice, and hopefully that will happen sometime in the near future.

I've been icnredibly patient with this whole thing throughout, but I think this may be coming to an end. Then again, it might not and I might never see my money. Either way, it's no big deal aside form the $500 I'm out, but it's been so long at this point getting a refund is like getting a free $500. It'd be nice to have it though, along with my massive tax return I'm due. Getting those both will make life very much easier.

But knowing me, I'll probably just pick up online gambling again.
