A Chunk of Change
I sent home money today, in true procrastinator style, at the last possible second. I have a payment due today, which I authorized upon getting home from work, at which point my wire transfer hadn't yet hit. It has now, and I'm sure by the time my payment is processed it will have been successfully deposited, but all the same, I think it's kinda funny that I waited this long. I mean, it's not really funny, but, yea, you know what I mean.
I sent home a record amount too, $1020, to cover my regular bills and half of my plane ticket home. Apparently spending $1240 all at once has something of a negative effect on one's credit rating, especially one as fragile as mine. It dropped 34 points after my purchase, but I anticipate it rising again after my payments hit, so no huge worries there. Especially since I'm not about to go apply for another card or get a loan or anything.
It feels nice though, that I can send a grand home and not fret too much about getting by to next month.
